How I Quit Smoking Pot: Day 20 Back to Where It All Started
Today was Day 20 in my personal quest to stop smoking the evil weed. In this video I take a quick trip back to the neighborhood where I lived most of the time when I was 12-18 years old and show you the property where our old house was when I started smoking pot at 12 years old. Things have changed A LOT. Guess that means that I can too!
Super excited about getting past my three week mark after tomorrow – and hoping for a Seahawks playoff win in Atlanta to help me celebrate!
Oh yeah – btw today was mostly a really good day in many ways, but I did have an incident in the gym where I caused a HUGE scene by yelling at a guy in front of a whole bunch of people. This may be related to my irritability, but what he was doing would piss me off at any time.
Please don’t waste your time reading this – I just needed to get it out:
It’s not a huge gym, but there is plenty of space so that people don’t have to wait for equipment, or bump into each other. There was an older guy who I think either wants to give me grief because of my hair -or wishes he was cut-up like I’ve become due to eating clean and my tough workouts. I was using a pulley to do some curls and he came up and starting hanging on the bar directly behind me. When I was done with my set I stepped back 6″ and almost bumped into him. Instead of doing my next set, I looked at him, shook my head and walked to the other side of the gym.
Several minutes later I noticed he had followed me that direction – so I went back to do another set of pulley curls and by the time I was done, he was hanging on the bar next to me again. I just let him have it. It was all I could do to not hit him with my Kleen Kanteen water bottle … After yelling at him and causing a scene, he finally moved away. I started in on another set and what do you know – some kid comes up and does the same exact thing as the old guy did … It was time to wrap up my workout before someone got hurt – and is probably time for me to go back to working out at 2am again … (rant over – thanks for letting me get it out, but sorry I had to).
