How I Quit Smoking Pot: Losing Track of the Days

I’ve started to lose track of the number of days that it has been since I quit smoking marijuana – and it isn’t because I’m stoned! 🙂 I think today is Day 37 or so and whatever it is, things are continually getting better for me.

Acupuncture treatments have been helping greatly in alleviating the severe pain I’ve been experiencing in my neck and back – and I hope that I will be able to continue them (although my acupuncturist does seem very busy and may be less willing to continue trading). She’s also given my some ideas for self treatment (including hitting myself – believe it or not) and getting a better, buckwheat pillow.

I also hosted a networking breakfast this morning at 7am! There’s no possible way I would have even considered that even just two months ago …

Thank you for subscribing to this site and liking the videos, but especially for all the kind comments and positive feedback that I’ve been getting. It is very appreciated.

I’m so so happy you are feeling better 😀
    Hopefully the pillow helps too!!

And I was wondering where the “beating yourself” thing was going haha

‘You can take the girl out of the gutter, but you can’t take the gutter out of the girl’ 😛 hahaha

I definitely left myself open for that one, right? I knew I’d hear about it from someone – glad it was you. Back to that thing about getting a girlfriend … 😉

Unfortunately, after not much sleep last night and a nap this afternoon I woke up with another headache and my neck as tight as it was last week.

This is NOT good … I’m such a whiner, but getting real tired of pain – and not being able to go to the gym. I’d hate for anyone to have to tolerate being around me much these days …

Did you manage to get the pillow Lei Ding recommended for you ?

And I don’t think you’re a whiner – just a guy trying to deal with his pain!!

Speaking of pain, since quitting, I have started to get wrist pain again 🙁
-Previously I was diagnosed by a Dr with RSI and he immediately suggested surgery *SHOCK ME*, another Dr who also wanted to operate said it was Carpal Tunnel, so I went and saw a physio -who’s word I’ll take over both the Drs- and he said that two of the main nerves running up my arm are overlapping instead of running parallel which is causing me pain in my wrist… after he put tape around my wrist, elbow and upper arm the pain went away and I ditched the brace I was forced to wear
But now it’s getting worse and worse and even wakes me up through the night..
After reading about how MMJ previously helped with your pain, I’m now wondering if my smoking weed was helping me with my pain!?? (Not that I’d consider smoking again or anything)
Or maybe it’s just a big coincidence :-/

Meh, anyway just thinking out loud haha

Hope you are feeling better soon!!!!!!

Thank you Katie. I was finally able to find a buckwheat pillow today and look forward to sleeping on it tonight! Sure hope it helps …

Sorry to hear about your wrist – I hope I did not cause you to be thinking about it! More importantly I hope the pain goes away – it was definitely very smart of you to get more than the first two opinions …
