Stop Smoking Pot

Today is the 90th day since I last smoked marijuana. I am so glad that I quit weed and very thankful for being able to stay off the dope.
For me most of the symptoms and struggles with detoxing from pot were over after the first 2-3 weeks, but still occasionally I will have a ‘nightmare’ after which I wake up thinking that I was back to smoking weed .. I just had my first one in a couple months the other night.
Overall, I am feeling great, have a lot more energy and motivation, and being more productive and effective. Super happy and looking forward to the future. Lots of cool stuff in the works – I’ve been writing a book about nutrition, writing hotel and auto reviews, amongst other things.
Another thing that has me feeling good is that despite my past, I have been able to serve as a positive role model for others and help counsel a number of people who are having challenges with their decision to quit smoking weed. If I can be of assistance to you, please let me know.
A couple of days ago was the 11 month milestone since I made the decision to quit smoking marijuana. I very nearly slipped up that very evening – and actually may have if 1) I still had a pipe or smoking device or 2) my girlfriend would not have come home in time.
Overall the journey has been pretty trouble free, but this week I was sick, suffering from lack of sleep and still having to work some very long days. Almost a slip up – in fact I brought out some of my old stash and started taking whiffs of it …
In the end, I just decided to wait another day and see if it was something I really wanted to do once I had more sleep. It wasn’t.
A big assist goes to the accountability created by the blog athttp://HowIQuitSmokingPot.com – it has been a big help to me and if you think it could help you, please send me an email at JC@BellevueBusinessJournal.com and I will get you a login.

Happy Thanksgiving and Peace be to you and yours.
Wow – not sure I should have done this … I really value the great advice in Jerry Dorsman’s Book “How to Quit Drugs For Good” and he said NOT to tell everyone, but of course in my own contradictory style, I had to ignore his great advice.
This video is probably the most humbling video I have ever made. It may cause me some problems, will definitely bring up a lot of questions and will definitely make some people raise their eyebrows. Guess what? I’m still glad that I did it – and it seems to have lifted a great weight off of my shoulders.
I’m not ready to admit I’m a pot addict (because I know I can and have changed), but definitely acknowledge that I have to fight addictive behaviors – and that I need to keep myself from using marijuana – medical or otherwise.
Anyway, take a look at the video if you’d like and let me know your thoughts. I would love to hear from you.
